Bandol is one of the oldest vineyard in France. The first vine was planted by the Romans 2,500 years ago. Chateau Vannières is recognized among the most prestigious domaines of Bandol. Gaston Boisseaux, from Beaune in Burgundy acquired this property in 1957 and now, his son Eric is winemaker. Farming in the vineyard follows the purest tradition of the appellation, encouraging wines that can age 30 years or more.

- Terroir: Mediterranean climate, on marls, limestone and sand.
- Vinification: Hand harvested in small baskets to prevent oxidation and sorted manually. Grapes are de-stemming and lightly crushing at 46 F to avoid color extraction.
- Aging: Aged in 400L Oak Barrels for six months.
