From Vincent’s youngest vines on the lowest part of the slope of decomposed granite. The vines are located in a lieu dits called Mazards and this wine hits way above its price. The name of this wine, "30", references both the gradient slope of the vineyard as well as the average age of the vines. Only about 1000 cases are produced per year, as his yields are very low (and get lower as the vines age). Vincent Paris inherited most of his vines (some of which are 100 years old) from his grandfather and also rents vines from his uncle, (Robert Michel). Parcels are along the southeast facing Cornas slope are all farmed biodynamically, total 17 hectares. Vincent is also co-president of the Cornas AOC and recently inherited his uncle’s famed Geynale parcel of exceptionally old vines planted in 1910.
