CÔTES DU RHÔNE, SOUTHERN RHÔNE, and RHÔNE VALLEY
FRANCE

Domaine L'Agramante is a project of passion begun by Sicilian Carlo La Rocca in 2018, who quit his job as an engineer in France to begin growing and making wine in the Southern Rhône Valley, in the town of Sabran.

  • Winemaker: Sicilian Carlo
  • Farming: Organic
  • Variety: 35% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 25% Syrah, 10% Counoise.
  • Terroir: Goblet-trained vines on a windy, south-facing, terraced site with high sand and silt soils. Vine age ranges from 16 to 60 years old.
  • Vinification: Hand harvested with grape selection in the vineyard. All varieties are destemmed and co-fermented with native yeast. Six days of maceration with daily pumpovers before five months of aging in stainless steel.
  • Aging: Five months in stainless steel. No fining or filtering before bottling and minimal SO2 added.
  • Tasting Note: The wine is spicy, bright, and light on its feet with a refreshing character. It features flavors that are charming and vibrant, making it the perfect antidote to heavy, high-octane Southern Rhône wines.
