Due to Kurt Angerer's uncompromising commitment to high quality - both in the vineyards as well as his approach to vinification.
The estate is a family business active for over 150 years. Kurt feels strongly attached to the traditions and the terroir of these holdings which he honors in the names of his wines: Kies, Spies, Loam, Granit and Eichenstaude. The mineral structure, the diverse location bedrock soil and far-reaching loose soil (gravel) contribute to the uniqueness of the wines.
Farming: Sustainable.
Variety: 100% Grüner Veltliner.
Terroir: Produced from sandy loess soils of the Kremstal
