It is often said that the Sommelier's favorite wines are made from Riesling. Riesling is *not* all sweet! In fact, most Rieslings are DRY as a BONE, especially if they come from Austria, Australia, Italy, France, or the regions of Pfalz, Rheingau, and Nahe in Germany. You can also know that if it says "Trocken" or "GG/Grosses Gewächs" on the label, that also means it's dry!

If you're looking for a Riesling with a little sweetness, find ones with the terms Feinherb, Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese, Beerenauslese, or Trockenbeerenauslese. You can also give us a call!
