Terroir: Clos de la Grand Coeur is a historic estate located on a true plateau in Fleurie. The soils are almost 100% decomposed granite, with vines in this cuvee averaging 40 years in age. Most of these vines are on more shallow soils than the Vieilles Vigne (old vine) bottling from this vineyard.
Vinification: Whole clusters, zero extraction and natural fermentations. Aged 40% in foudre and 60% in futs de chene (barrel). 10ppm of SO2 one month before bottling.
