- Terroir (soils, elevation, etc): from the Mondoca site in the Bussia cru, in the town of Montforte, 33 yr old vines, S-W exposure
- Vinification: 30-40 day maceration, fermentation in large wooden fermenters with native yeasts
- Aging: 36 month aging in 30hl oak barrel. Held 3-5 years in the family’s cellar and released as Riserva
- Tasting Note: Amazing wine, redolent of all kinds of botanicals, almost like a wine infusion of a host of different plants and fruits; warm and inviting on the palate, tannins are there but they are very attractive, like 70% chocolate
