A young new vigneron on the scene, Thibaud Boudignon has already made a big name for himself. He farms small parcels of Chenin Blanc and Cab Franc all by hand and by heart. He rebuilt and renovated a centuries-old cellar where he works (and lives above) in Savennieres.

Terroir / Soil: Shallow soils on grey schist, volcanic soil and sand.
Winemaking: Vinification in French + Austrian oak barrel (various volume), indigenous yeast fermentation. No malolactic fermentation.
Aging: Barrels of 350L + 700L volume, up to 30% new.
Tasting Notes: With a tight core of saline terroir enveloped within ripe medium bodied fruit, this chenin blanc delivers a focused example of Thibaud’s style of ripe fruit matched with elegance and precision.
